Tools which help the mind to adopt new perspectives

Creativity templates have been constructed to stimulate and challenge the minds of the group to take different perspectives on a situation, and to see what new ideas or insights emerge from this.
Their sole impact is on the minds which engage with them, which will be a source of continuing disappointment to any who are hoping for a tool which will provide them with a clear and creative answer delivered directly out of the tool.

However, used properly, and with a focus on the tool as an aid to thinking rather than as a substitute for it, creativity tools can take the mind to some interesting places, and encourage it to flex muscles that you may not have realised it had.
The ‘flexing muscles’ analogy is a useful one, because the creativity tools do not make things easier for the mind, they actually give it a real work out, but in doing so they highlight options that otherwise may easily be overlooked.
As with the standard templates, each creativity template has its own page, which contains links to reference material and guidance (where available).
