Session plans are key to ensuring a efficient meeting, particularly when the meeting is large, long, complex and covering new ground. I use session plans as an integral component of all workshops I run with clients – without exception – they are that important to me in ensuring a successful outcome.
More recently, however, I have become a ware of a great new tool which takes a lot of the effort out of developing session plans. SessionLab enables you to access (and maintain your own) library of meeting/workshop components, and to drag and drop them into place where you need them. It enables you to do this collaboratively over the web. And it takes care of things like timings and ensuring the right balance of time.
